The SPOJ problem archive is organized very differently from the UVa problemset. Instead of problems from 100 to 199, SPOJ gives me problems 1 to 54 (or 100 to 154, if you please). Giving a direct link to problems 100 - 199 will not be possible. Giving links for 1 - 50 is also not possible because SPOJ lists problems from 1 - 54 on the first page and so on (I have no idea why they do that instead of 1 - 50). So can we do it in the same order as in the SPOJ problemset pages? It would be much easier to maintain it that way.--Shalinmangar 14:36, 31 Jan 2006 (EST)

Or maybe we can ignore the way SPOJ lists the problems. Just maintain an archive similiar to UVa and give individual problems' links and not links to volume 1,2,3...?--Shalinmangar 14:37, 31 Jan 2006 (EST)
Oh, I just realized that the numbering of the problems is not continous. For example, we don't have a problem with ID 111. Sorry for the confusion.--Shalinmangar 15:32, 31 Jan 2006 (EST)
That's what I was thinking. I assumed (which might or might not be true, I'm not personally familiar with SPOJ) that there were parameters that would display it, but that's why I broke it into sections of 1-100, ignoring missing numbers and the like. Larry 19:22, 31 Jan 2006 (EST)
The parameters that their web pages accept, can show problems starting from a specific problem (like show problems after the 50th one). But these pages show only 50 problems per page and we can't tweak that (I tried). Maybe the best way would be to organize into volumes of 50 problems each so that we can give the links to the appropriate SPOJ problemset pages. And in each volume page, give the SPOJ ID along with their SPOJ Code and links. The only drawback is that the SPOJ IDs are not continous and it may look odd (for example putting Problem ID 54 after 51).--Shalinmangar 04:09, 1 Feb 2006 (EST)
Ya, I thought it could, since it seems pretty generic. This will have to do for now.. (though we can also just break it down to 1-50, even if the links goes beyond 50..) Larry 17:10, 1 Feb 2006 (EST)
Since the Problem IDs in Algorithmist's volume is desynced from the links, I'm recommending changing the volumes to be in increments of 100.-- 21:34, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
